Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie just returned from his first trip to Italy (homeland of his maternal grandparents), where he visited Disney Channel in Rome and Florence. The 19-year-old actor traveled with his mom, dad and 14-year-old brother Lorenzo (pictured here).

After stopping to sign autographs for fans, David had a few things to say about his trip with JJJ:

On getting overwhelmed by all the beauty in Italy: “Words can’t possibly describe the emotion you get when looking up at Michelangelo’s art. It was truly breathtaking. So beautiful, I was in awe.”

On how he recommends enjoying the country: “I recommend just getting lost in the city, eat at little pizza, shop, enjoy the culture and relax.”

On speaking Italian: “I speak enough to order food and get by, I can pick up on words in conversation.”

Clips of David’s trip will be shown on a Disney 365 installment scheduled to premiere January 2009. He’s already back to work in L.A., shooting new scenes for Wizards.

Disney Channel World HSM3 Movie Review

Beginning: The Beginning was amazing!! The wildcat basketball team had 16 minutes to be a team and win the game! Now or Never played (the whole music video). How Jimmy the rocket man made one for the team!

Middle: Was so cool!! "the Boys are Back"music video was awesome and funny when they turned into little kids.(LOL) I felt bad for Gabriela haimg to miss the prom. "Scream" was also good! One of my favorites the effects and stuff!

END: one of the best songs in the end was "High school Musical", I also liked the part where Tiara Gold and Sharpay fought each other to be on the spotlight!

I encourage you guys to see the movie!!!

I think the video is has some things like what happened in the Titanic movie. The first part kinda made me feel kindda of weird. This video and Burnin Up has many similarities. Well, I gotta say it's a great song but, the video wasn't much as I expected.

Dance group Storm performs with a waxwork figure of High School Musical star Zac Efron as it is unveiled at Madame Tussauds on Thursday in London, England.

At a recent London press conference, Zac explained that the cast did not realize what an impact High School Musical had on the international scene. “The first time we realized what High School Musical had become was on the first international press tour,” the 20-year-old actor said.

Zac went on to say that, “We went all through Europe and were meeting so many fans, kids who were very excited to tell us how much High School Musical had influenced their lives and how much they had connected with it. That was something none of us expected.”
